In the event of an emergency disaster, you want your child to be able to take care of him or herself. To help with that, the Children’s Emergency Survival Go Bag provides everything a child may need. The bag was created with children up to 11 years old in mind, although older children may still benefit from many of the items included in the nine-pound backpack. The bag includes a number of items, but unlike some other child emergency kits, it also provides room for your child’s own items so he or she can use the bag for other things as well. The kit includes a wide variety of items, including six boxes of water and six food bars, water purification tables, a squeeze flashlight that doesn’t require batteries, glow sticks, a survival whistle, a blanket and poncho, gloves, a dust mask, a hygiene kit, tissues, and a well-stocked first aid kit. A jump rope, set of jacks, and a ball and paddle set are also included to give your child something to do while waiting for the disaster to be over.
